Update: This works with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Mac OS X comes with a built-in speech recognition diction software program. This program can be turned on from the Speech Preferences located in the System Preferences Application found in the Applications Folder of the Hard Drive. By using AppleScripts, the user can control programs like Safari, FireFox, TextEdit, and even MS Word running on Windows XP running in Parallels. The installation and setup of the scripts and system is easy and can take just a few minuets to compleate. The system and scripts are customizable around the user's needs and do not need a programmer to work with them. The scripts are very simple to use.
